CRAA Fall Classic Returns to Spartanburg in December
The College Rugby Association of America has confirmed that the Fall Classic returns for 2025 and will return to the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, SC.
The event is held in partnership with One Spartanburg, Inc. and also with sponsors AEG Rugby, 8x8 Sports, Gainline Sports Management, Marriott, and Irish Rugby Tours.
OneSpartanburg, Inc. is the economic, tourism, and community development organization for Spartanburg County, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors while promoting the region’s vibrant culture and opportunities.
The CRAA Fall Classic has become a major event to wrap up the fall in CRAA's calendar, with Bowl Matches for men's teams and women's teams, and even all-star/select sides playing each other. The Fall Classic was held in Spartanburg in 2024 for the first time, and that was successful enough for CRAA to bring it back.

Spartanburg Returns as Host City
Known for its hospitality and community spirit, Spartanburg offers the perfect backdrop for the Fall Classic. The partnership with One Spartanburg ensures not only world-class facilities but also an engaging experience for teams and fans, with local attractions and amenities enhancing the weekend.

We don't expect these matchups to be repeated, necessarily, but given the enthusiasm with which HOA and Florida embraced the All-Star Bowl, they could well be back. The main thing is that teams that wouldn't normally meet get games at this event.
