The Chesapeake Collegiate Conference will not play a fall 15s schedule and there's some serious doubt as to whether the conference will play any rugby at all this coming academic year.

Administrations at Virginia Tech, Mary Washington, Mount St. Mary's, and Queen University, Charlotte, have all suspended fall sports. NC State students can practice, apparently, as long as they don't use rugby balls.

The conference will look to play 15s in the spring, but even that will likely look different as not all the teams in the conference will necessarily be able to play.

The Chesapeake Conference includes:

Virginia Tech
NC State
Mount St. Mary's
Mary Washington
Southern Virginia
Queens University Charlotte
North Carolina State University
Maryland
