This season also saw Rugby Georgia held its first U19’s HS girls championship tournament. 

The championship match saw that Harlequins from Marietta, GA travel south to Brunswick, GA where the home team hosted the tournament.  

The ladies from Brunswick, in their inaugural season with Rugby Georgia, scored with 15 seconds remaining, breaking a 10-all deadlock to secure the championship. 

According to coach Ditoria Garrett it was an exciting match as both clubs showed significant improvement over the course of the season.  Brunswick’s Lady of the Match was Za’CiryaMunginand the Harlequins Lady of the Match was Zoe Hernandez.
