Boys School HS Rugby Rankings Week 18
We have some strange results this week and these are results that make you wonder what to do.
Key among these are Highland vs Herriman and Moeller vs St. Edward.
In both instances, the losing team was ranked significantly higher, and lost by a small margin. In both instances, the losing team had, overall, a better record than the winning team—significantly better, really.
So in both examples we decided to move the winning team up by a decent amount—Highland up 15, Moeller up 19—but not past the team they beat. We just don't see it in totality. Not yet. However, we might see more changes based on these results as the season progresses, especially with the National Championships and the Ohio playoffs coming up. We have the feeling that Herriman was a bit unlucky, and other results still indicate Herriman should remain high for the moment. But if they falter again? Watch out.
The National Championship tournament will likely prompt some significant changes.
