Boys Nationals Update: Who Did What This Week

Here's Week 2 of our updates on how teams in the 2019 Boys HS Rugby National Championships are faring.

The Boys HSRNC competition will be held at the RAC in Salt Lake City, Utah, and will consist of three games for each team over three days, May 16-18.

Here's what they did last week:


HS Clubs
Aspetuck Valley (CT). LOst to Xavier but a very creditable loss 26-17.
Back Bay (CA). Shut out Santa Monica. 3rd straight shutout.
Charlotte Tigers (NC). Beat Union County Lions
Danville Oaks (CA). No game.
Eastside Lions (WA). Beat Budd Bay fairly convincingly.
Granite Bay (CA). No game.
Kansas City Junior Blues (MO). Won two games during the week and went 3-0 at the Heart of America in Oklahoma.
Lamorinda (CA). Beat Kahuku in Hawaii. Very good result; Kahuku is tough to be in the Islands.
Raleigh Redhawks (NC). Beat Vienna. 
Royal Irish (IN). No game. 
San Diego Mustangs (CA). No game,
United (UT). Riverton scheduled but we haven't seen a result yet.
Single-School Teams
East HS (UT). No game.
Gonzaga College HS (DC). On tour. 
Greenwich HS (CT). Beat Simsbury.
Herriman HS (UT). Beat Olympus.
Jesuit HS (CA). Beat De la Salle. 
Kahuku HS (HI). Lost to Lamorinda.
Penn HS (IN). On tour.
Snow Canyon HS (UT). Lost to Highland last week. Reslt pending this week. 
Rocky Mt. HS (ID). No game.  
St. Thomas Aquinas HS (KS). 2-1 at Heart of America.
Wando HS (SC). No game
Xavier HS (NY). Beat Aspetuck.
