St. Bonaventure held off a a determined comeback from Iona to win a Challenge Series match between the two.

St. Bonaventure led 31-15 only to see Iona come back to lead by five at 43-38. But Bonnies stormed back to score and convert to take the 45-43 lead, and then regained the restart to kick to touch and win the game.

SBU got a huge game from the forward pack in cold conditions.

Iona got two tries from scrumhalf Connor Buckley and tries from Bryce Stanback, Cam DiGiorgio, John Powers, and Santi Mascolo.
