Belmont Shore and Rhino Rugby Academy ran off with 3-0 records in a series of shortened games at the Storer Classic at UCLA.
The tournament, which is part of the annual collegiate Storer Classic (won by Cal), is a series of shortened games among teams from Southern California, Northern California, and Utah.
Rhino beat Olympus in a close one 17-15, and then shut out Mother Lode before beating Lamorinda 28-3.
Belmont Shore, however, were almost as impressive, taking down Snow Canyon 25-15, Lamorinda 29-12, and Mother Lode 17-0.
