Atlantis Hosts Rugby Sevens Camp

The Atlantis Rugby Corporation will host an Individual Testing and Open Rugby Sevens Camp for High School Boys/Girls and Women from the EPRU, on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.). The camp will be valuable for novice and experienced players alike and is open to any male or female player registered with USA Rugby.

Crossover Athletes

Crossover athletes and coaches are welcome. The individual must be C.I.P.P. with USA Rugby and have personal insurance. Any player under the age of 18 must have written permission by his parents and/or Guardian. Each individual player must sign a Waiver and Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Form ("Waiver and Release"). Each player/coach must sign a Waiver and Media/Picture Release Form.

Emil Signes, Jack Foley, Chris Ryan, Wayne DiMarco, “Biddy” Boyle, Josie Ziluca and the Atlantis Rugby Corporation Selectors will be evaluating players to possibly participate on the Atlantis Men’s Elite, Atlantis Women’s Elite, Atlantis Men’s Development, Atlantis High School U18/Boys’, Atlantis High School U16/Boy’s, and Atlantis High School U18/Girls’ teams at the Las Vegas Invitational (LVI) and USA 7s or Touring Atlantis Select Side Team.

This year’s camp will also be an evaluation process for the EPRU Women’s 7’s Select Side that will be competing in NY 7’s November 2019 and coached by the Atlantis coaching staff.

The September 29, 2019 camp will be an evaluation process by the Atlantis selectors for the Atlantis High School U18/Boys’, U/18 Girls’, the Atlantis High School U/16 Boys’ , U/16 Girls, for the 2019/2020 North American High School 7s Series. Atlantis will be participating in: the Tropical 7’s in April of 2020. The NAI 7s Tournament in Utah July 2020 and other North America High School 7s Series Tournaments.

Atlantis is also looking to register a U/14 Boys’ and a U/17 Boys’ in the above mentioned tournaments.

Players selected to play for Atlantis will be eligible to play for the North American Lions Boys’ and Girls’ international travel side 2019/2020.
