Army West Point Seeks New Assistant Coach

Army West Point's women's rugby program is looking for an assistant coach.

The Assistant Coach reports directly to the Women’s Army Rugby Head Coach Bill Leclerc. This position is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Women’s Army Rugby program, including:
Upholding the teams code of conduct
Team culture development
Monitoring cadet athletes academic progress
Overseeing the discipline and conduct of the cadet athletes
General coaching
Recruiting
Active participation in the camps and clinics

and more.

Army competes in the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) competition for NCAA Varsity programs.

This is a full-time paid position and a job that requires the successful candidate to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree
Level 300 Coaching Certification
1-3 years coaching experience (collegiate/ club/professional/international) or exceptional playing experience
Experience with game analytical software (Nacsport/ Sport Code) 
Strong understanding of the Rules of both 15’s and 7’s 
Strong presentation and communication skills to include game film session reviews
Skill in operation of modern office machines, communication tools, equipment, computers and relevant software
