ARCA Camp for Women in Texas

The American Rugby Coaches Association is holding a two one-day camps for women, in Texas.

The camps will be held Saturday, Jan 23 and Sunday, Jan 24. Each will last from noon to 5pm. 

The camp will enable players at all levels of experience to improve their individual and team skills. Though a combination of drills and game-like situations, players will learn macro fundamentals and micro techniques that will enable them to raise their rugby IQ and overall level of play. The camps are led by Darryl Suasua, two-time Rugby World Cup Champion coach and former New Zealand Black Ferns coach. Supporting coaches include Leo Lafaialii, former Auckland Blues and Samoa National Team player, and Jeremy Treece, two-time NSCRO champion coach and author of the FIFTH rugby program.

Tickets are $139. Players are responsible for their own kit, lunch, and water. The camps will be held at the Austin Huns rugby facility at 4107 Nixon Lane in Austin, Texas. Go here for a map.
