All Very Tight In MARC DII

One more weekend of regular season action is left in the Mid-Atlantic Men's DII college conference and and everyone is still chasing down a playoff spot.

Villanova is in excellent shape at 5-0, while Moravian (1-2-1) plays Lehigh in a game that could see Moravian move up to 3rd.

The chase for the top spot in the MARC West. Scranton leads with a 2-0-1 record plays 2-1 York this weekend, and if York wins they can be 1st, and definitely 2nd, in the division. Shippensburg has had a solid season and plays 0-3 Millersville this weekend. Ship is favored and likely will be 1st if York beats Scranton.

Meanwhile, the Scranton Norsemen are rested after the fall break.

Head Coach Quinn Conaboy said the team kind of needed the rest after playing Navy's B side and Bloomsburg.

The players are now felling rested, he said.

Scrumhalf Aiden Stepsis has been playing really well for Scranton, providing good service from the base of the breakdown and also launching some snappy box kicks to keep the opposition guessing. Wing Max Tricolla is leading the conference in tries and is quick and also very powerful. No. 8 Mike Kelleher is a very dangerous runner.

This is a very competitive conference, so getting a good seed in the conference playoffs is crucial.
