2021 Sevens World Series Season Gets Changes

World Rugby has announced a change to the 2021 Sevens World Series.

The season will now run from September 18 through December 12 with six events for the men and four events for the women.

Canada will host two men's events in September, with Vancouver's BC Place hosting the first tournament September 18-19, and then a week later Edmonton runs a men's event September 25-26. 

The women's season starts in Paris at a date to be confirmed, and then Singapore hosts the men in October. Later in the fall there will be three events that will host men's and women's tournament at the same time.

Here's how the 2021 Sevens World Series will look:

Men: Vancouver, BC, September 18-19
Men: Edmonton, AB, September 25-26
Women: Paris, France
Men: Singapore, October 29-30
Men: Hong Kong, November 5-7
Women: Hong Kong, November 5-7
Men: Dubai, December 3-4
Women: Dubai, December 3-4
Men: Cape Town, South Africa, December 10-12
Women: Cape Town, South Africa, December 10-12
