Now that a few teams are on the field we update our Boys HS Club rankings. The big mover is Back Bay, which really won't get going until the club season in SoCal gets started. But they played as a club in the Storer Classic and beat three very good teams from Northern California.

So they get a big boost. So does Phoenix Alpharetta by virtue of playing, and beating, a number of strong teams in the Southeast. Simple as that, play games against tough opposition, and win them, and your ranking goes up.

Danville, winners over three very strong teams in the Storer Classic, including the previous #2 club, Santa Monica, moves to #2. Also of note, from now on, we're calling Cathedral of Indiana Royal Irish. This reflects the fact that the team has an equal contribution from Cathedral HS and Bishop Chatard School. So to avoid confusion in regards to where the players come from, and to avoid confusion with Cathedral Catholic out of Southern California, we're calling the Indiana team the Royal Irish. And the Royal Irish remain #1.
