Check out our photos from Saturday's USA v NZ game.

New Zealand beat the USA 74-6 at a sold-out Soldier Field. So why celebrae it? In part because we think that the USA team did many things worthy of appreciation. They didn't score any tries, but played good rugby at times and didn't look out of place in a game against the World Championships.

But just as much because of the success of the event. Soldier Field? Seemed ambitious, but maybe they could get 25,000 there and it wouldn't look so bad.

They sold out. To see 61,500 fans pack into one of the storied American football stadiums was memorable. The atmosphere for the players was unique for them. It was loud, patriotic (on both sides) and thrilling. We might have wanted a closer game, but the size of the event is worth celebrating.
