The Potomac Athletic Rugby Club and the Maryland Exiles are merging.

The two longtime clubs are set to officially announce their merger on Saturday, July 12.

The two clubs ave long been well-known in men's club circles, with PAC being in the old Super League and Maryland a little more successful in 7s circles than 15s. But both have struggled of late to be among the very top of Men's clubs. The decision is one other cubs have taken over the years in order to be more competitive.

The new club will be called the Potomac Exiles.
