NSCRO Men Playoff Picture

The National Small College Rugby Organization teams are headed into the playoff end of the fall. Here's a look at at where the leagues are at present.

NSCRO Champions Cup
Region 1 - Northeast
New England College looks to win the Regional for the 3rd time in a row. However, 3 other teams are looking to upend them..Tufts, Bowdoin and Eastern Conn State in this weekend's NERFU playoffs.
In the TriState Conference playoffs, SUNY-Oneonta will face off against Manhattanville in the final on Nov. 9.
SUNY-Plattsburgh will take on the Univ.of Rochester in the Upstate SCRC final on Nov. 9.

Region 2 - Mid-Atlantic South
Mount St. Mary's is dominating the Capital Potomac Conference and is hungry to win this Region again after a 4th place finish in the NSCRO National Championship this past April.
In the Cardinals Conference, the playoffs are set with Duke, Richmond, Lord Fairfax CC and Mary Washington ready to play for a spot in the NSCRO Champions Cup, while in the Challenge Cup competition, newly formed Emory & Henry will join Washington & Lee, Christopher Newport and Hamden-Sydney in the playoffs this weekend.
The East Penn RU Quarterfinals results on Nov. 1 were:
Lafayette 19 - Albright 15; Washington 15 - Penn State - Berks 5; Susquehanna 38 - Ursinus 12 and Neumann 27 - Bucknell 18.
The Nov. 8 semis will be Washington at Susquehanna and Neumann at Lafayette

Region 3 - Central
In the Great Lakes Conference playoffs this weekend, Wittenberg faces Calvin and Baldwin-Wallace will meet Tiffin in Saturday's semifinals.
Univ. of Southern Indiana defended its Indiana Union championship title with a narrow win over IPFW 22-20 in the final.
John Brown, likewise did the same in defending its Mid-America Union title holding of Pittsburg State 12-10. JBU will meet USI in St. Louis on Sunday, each vying for a trip to the Regional on Nov. 15-16.
Two-time defending NSCRO National Champion, St. John's University had no trouble winning the Minnesota Union knocking off St. Thomas in the final. Wisconsin-Stevens Point handled UW-Parkside to win the WISCARFU title and will face St. Jonn's in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Saturday.
Franciscan University, the 2012 NSCRO 3rd place finisher, looks like it has reclaimed its form and will take on Robert Morris in the Three Rivers Conference final on Nov. 8.

Region 4 - PacWest
All playoffs begin in March 2015.
