INDIANA SUPER LEAGUE
Too many teams at every level of American rugby shy away from a challenge. If you're good, sure you want the challenge, but what about those teams that are good enough to finish 1st in many lower divisions, but instead opt to play in a much tougher division and risk finishing last?

That's the situation in Indiana, where four teams have moved above DI and formed the Indiana HS Super League. Those four teams are Cathedral Royal Irish (three-time club NIT champs), Penn HS (3rd in single-school NIT), Notre Dame de la Salette (5th in single-school NIT), and Brownsburg (7th in single-school NIT). All of these teams are threats to win the Midwest and serious national contenders.

In NIT action in 2014 they won 8 games and lost 4. Notre Dame lost to eventual Single-School champs by a try. There are no easy games in this league.

The runner up league has to be the Northern California Varsity club league, which included Jesuit's B team, Danville, North Bay, Hayward, Sierra Foothills, Lamorinda, Peninsula Green, and Granite Bay. The league was loaded with teams good enough to challenge for a national title. The league is arguably tougher this year with the addition of Pleasanton. In 2015, watch for the new all-Varsity Southern California Varsity Red league, and the Bonneville Conference in Utah, which includes Herriman, United, and Lowland.
