Goff Rugby Report is a new online news outlet covering rugby in the USA and concentrating on High School and College players.

Edited and founded by Alex Goff, longtime American rugby journalist, who has been covering rugby in the USA for 20 years, Goff Rugby Report has been hard at work giving readers insight into goings on in college rugby, HS rugby, and the teams those players aspire to join as they get better.

Are Colleges, High Schools Producing 7s HP Players? [6]

The answer, for the most part, is "yes." The new list of players trying to break into the USA men's 7s team includes a wide variety of club guys, crossovers, and guys who have taken advantage of the new development acdemies. But college programs of all types, and HS programs too, still produce talent (such as Trevor Tanifum, left.)

St. Mary's won USA Rugby's DIA final, and that's a national championship. USA Rugby says competitions like the CRC and Varsity Cup are not, and shouldn't say they are.
