National Collegiate Rugby's May Madness CRC tournament welcomed 110 teams over three days in New Orleans, but that's just the beginning of the numbers as what NCR also really needed to attract was nationwide fan interest.

Kutztown University has logged some major victories. They have won the Rugby East in 15s. Snubbed by the CRC in the early years, they played the qualifier in Las Vegas and won that. They made the CRC final twice and produced Eagles.
Shaking off the controversy of yesterday, IUP won two very tight games to take National Collegiate Rugby's Men's DII National 7s Championship Monday in New Orleans.
New Mexico Tech defeated Christendom 26-10 to win the CRC 7s Small College National Championship, finishing off a six-game run.
NMT had lost to Christendom in the NCR Small-College final and so were looking for some measure of revenge.
