This was the first 2019 league match for both teams and was also the 14th annual Boot Bowl, played for a trophy made out of East Head Coach Bill Baer's actual rugby boot. Yes, really.

Gonzaga HS is thinking national championship again and took an impressive step toward that end with a 34-12 defeat of St. Ignatius out of Cleveland.

This is a regular meeting between these two teams, and it's often very close. While still a competitive game, it was a little more on Gonzaga's side, and there's a reason for that.

St. John Bosco upset St. Augustine to take the SCIRF title over the weekend, in a win that was not without controversy.

The University of Mary Washington has pulled off two straight tournament victories in the Chesapeake Conference series.

This has been a difficult task to accomplish over the last couple of years, as the Chesapeake has several strong 7s teams, and winning consistently is very difficult.

On a cold, rainy weekend, UMW went 5-0 in this past weekend's tournament.

Pelham HS of New York is on tour in Texas and started off with a nicely-taken 53-10 victory over St. Thomas in Houston Thursday.

The Gold Coast Conference usually gets decided by the same top teams playing off, and this year is no different.
