It’s an all-Indiana party at the Midwest Rugby Challenge boys bracket, as Indiana North will take on Indiana South in the final Sunday.

Indiana actually put three teams in the Boys Varsity bracket, with Indiana South B going 1-1, losing to Indiana North.

Lightning suspended player midway through Saturday/s Rocky Mountain Challenge all-star tournament in Colorado.

Two rounds of boys Varsity games were played, with four of the six games being very close.

  Japan National Team Coach Eddie Jones has named his side to face the USA at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., on Saturday at 7:30pm Pacific Time. Wing Yoshikazu Fujita has been ruled out with a shoulder injury incurred while he scored a try in his team'sstartling comeback over Canada last weekend.

Northampton Saints have confirmed that former Naples HS and Life University star Cam Dolan has re-signed with the club for a year.

The East Coast Rugby Conference has selected 24 players in its All-Conference pool. 

Eleven players were selected to the conference's 1st Team, with 13 on the second team, and two honorable mentions.

With the USA women’s team off to the United Kingdom for an important three-game tour in advance of the World Cup, there are potential changes afoot. Head Coach Pete Steinberg has named a squad with plenty of players we expected to see - Jamie Burke, Emilie Bydwell, Lynelle Kugler, Nathalie Marchino, Jillion Potter, Stacey Bridges to name just a few.

Unfortunately, because of the timing of the season and our launch, it's also the last rankings of the season. Ah well, we temper your disappointment by making th rankings big - 45 teams!

This weekend will be a busy one for the Rugby Indiana Boys Select Side Program, with the Boys Varsity being split into three teams - North A, South A, and South B - and two JV teams, plus a 7th/8th grade team and a 5th/6th grade team.

The Wisconsin girsl all-star team is set to travel to Indiana for the Midwest All-Star Challenge.

While the High School All American boys team will be assembling July 10 for their tour of South America, coaches are still scouting for one or two players to fill out the squad.

That means that Head Coach Salty Thompson and his staff will be attending several Regional All-Star Tournaments looking not only for next year’s players, but perhaps one or two for this year.
