Last week we bailed on picking some games because we weren't sure about them, but of the games we had the guts to pick, we were right on 25 and wrong on four, which is a success rate of 86%.

Not bad, and we did get one winning margin exactly right and a couple of others one or two points off. So we'll take it.

Berks County Rugby won the Cumberland Valley Boys HS 7s Championship this past weekend in Pennsylvania.

Western Michigan looked very impressive in winning over Louisville, and Lindenwood-Belleville looked solid in a win over Iowa.

Salisbury beating Virginia Tech isn't quite enough to bump Salisbury to be ranked ahead of VT. Tech has been playing well and a two-point loss isn't always a reason to switch places. Salisbury is 2-1-1 in-conference and needs to show consistency.

The big question as we vote on the DIA rankings is what we do about St. Bonaventure losing to Notre Dame.

Endicott upset Roger Williams 52-14 Sunday in the Colonial Coast Conference in NSCRO.

With the result Roger Williams drops to 3-1 and Endicott improves to 2-2. Endicott, which lost an earlier game in somewhat controversial fashion to Bridgewater State, finally was able to put together its best performance, and the result put them in the playoff conversation.

Grand Valley State defeated Calvin College 53-32 to move to 4-0 in the Great Lakes men's DII college conference.

Flyhalf Nick Roberts did a nice job at running the GVSU attack, while flanker Tarzan Iam, playing in his first game, was a wild man chasing balcarriers down.

At No. 8, Austin Dewey worked the breakdowns and tackles nicely.

It looks like a Ohio State/Indiana chase to the top of the Big 10 after both teams won games this weekend, and Michigan State faltered.

So there it is; the USA is 0-4 in the Rugby World Cup after losing 31-19 to Tonga.

It's been eight years since the Eagles won a game in the World Cup, and in the USA's history, drops to 3-26.

Against Tonga, the Eagles played tough, played with heart, and with some adventure, too. But the Eagles' flaws that showed in March came home to roost in October.

Kutztown University is now in 1st place in the Rugby East after defeating Penn State Saturday, riding a torrid first half and holding on as the Lions roared back.

Aaron Gray went over in the first five minutes to give Kutztown an early lead, and two minutes later scrumhalf Tai Kauwe zipped in and with Thorne O'Connell's conversion Kutztown led 12-0 after eight minutes.

On a cold, rainy, windy evening in South Bend the University of Notre Dame claimed an important victory, defeating St. Bonaventure 13-10.

It wasn’t the prettiest victory, but it was an important one for the Fighting Irish, coming as it did after close losses to Ohio State (15-7), Indiana (25-12), and Bowling Green (24-17).

We're a little bit late posting this so we'll combine it as a scores page and a picks page.

The only results we had prior to posting was Central Michigan over Saginaw Valley State, and Lowell over Providence, but we had CMU and Lowell picked for those—honest. Big game in the South with Citadel vs UNC, and also in the Tri-State with Kings Point against Marist.
