The USA Women’s 7s team won the Plate at the Amsterdam 7s, defeating Russia 27-12 in the Plate Final, and recording one of their better tournaments for the season.
At the same tournament, Cathedral won the HS Club bracket.
In Tier II, Jesuit B - the 2nd side of Jesuit of Sacramento, which had competed in the HS Club league in Northern California all year, defeated Brother Rice to win.
Two of the winners won by a single points.

STANFORD, Calif. – Penn State University won its third consecutive Women’s Division I National Championship Saturday with a 38-0 defeat of Stanford University at the Cardinal’s home field of Steuber Rugby Stadium. The two teams played well in their respective Semifinal Friday, but the Final was all Penn State from the beginning.

Under the bright lights of Steuber Rugby Stadium at Stanford University, a year after coming up just short in the D1A Final, Saint Mary's College defeated Life University, 21-6, to win its first National Championship.

Twenty-four high school boys teams, eight high school freshman boys teams, and eight high school girls teams will battle it out for the title of American High School Sevens Champion.
STANFORD, Calif. – The University of Arizona’s inspired trek to the Men’s Division I-AA National Championship was stopped short by the University of Central Florida Sunday at Steuber Rugby Stadium, as the Knights won their second consecutive title with a 64-13 victory.
