Girls HS 7s rugby is happening around the nation and here's a look at some of the stuff that's been going on.
A new team, and some contenders chowing as we look at girls HS 7s this week.
While Colorado has already started its girls HS 7s, we see more action this weekend with Utah, Indiana, Iowa, and Pennsylvania all getting tournaments in.
HS Girls, 7th/8th-grade Girls, and HS Boys are all in action in Utah.
It's a stacked boys bracket with Herriman, East, Mountain Ridge, Riverton, and Olympus playing.
Colorado girls kicked off their season past weekend with a 7s tournament.
Utah's United joined the Rugby Colorado teams and teams from the Colorado Interscholastic Rugby Association in a multi-bracket competition that, with 2nd squads, featured 22 separate teams in action on Saturday.
Fall is not free of high school rugby.
Girls rugby, especially, gets a boost in the fall, both in 7s and (in some small examples) 15s.
