Chula Vista, Calif. (USA Rugby Release)—USA Rugby announced today the 2024 US Women’s Olympic Rugby Sevens Team as they head to compete at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, with match dates set for July 28-30, 2024, live on Peacock and the NBC networks.
With all the talk about Olympic qualification for the USA 7s teams, it’s important to remember that there’s another Olympic-style event on a nearer horizon-the Pan Am Games.
As the RAN 7s Olympic qualifier gets set to kick off on Saturday, the gravity of the situation is something the USA team has to appreciate … and forget about.
“For us, it means the world,” said USA captain Kevon Williams. “We know we’re supposed to be here. We know qualifying is really important.”
