Divine Savior Holy Angels dominated through the Girls Midwest Championships in Elkhart, Ind.
DSHA beat Medina, St. Joseph's Academy (both of Ohio) and Michigan's Sparta Rock in the final, winning by a combined 152-5, with Sparta Rock being the only team to score on the Milwaukee-area school team.
St. Joe's edged Catholic Memorial for 3rd.
In one of the most exciting and well-played girls high school rugby games any fan will ever want to see, Divine Savior Holy Angels held off Sparta Rock 31-29 to win the 2023 Midwest Championships.

This was the second-straight title for DSHA, as they won in 2019 and the tournament was not held due to the COVID pandemic in 2020 and 2021. This is the 9th championship overall for the Milwaukee school.
