GRR: Coast Guard Academy
The American Collegiate Rugby Association (ACRA) 7s saw Coast Guard Academy win its 7s championships
ACRA is a group of mostly Northeast women's D2-level rugby conferences that runs a 15s championship in the fall and 7s in the spring. They have essentially adopted the Rocky Mountain Conference as well, and the entire group maintains membership with USA Rugby.
Norwich and UMass-Lowell are 4-0 in the New England Wide Conference, while Vermont and Coast Guard rebounded from tough losses to go to 3-1.
Rugby at the Coast Guard Academy can be as unpredictable as the weather on the ocean, but it's been calm seas so far this fall.
The the teams that usually do well in the New England Wide College Rugby Conference are all starting strong as Norwich, Coast Guard, UMass-Lowell, and Vermont all won to improve to 2-0.
