(David Barpal photo.) For the first time in a long time Seamus Kelly is in a situation where he is not supremely confident. That's OK, and it's understandable. But Kelly has been at the center of the efforts of pretty much every team he's been on since high school. With the Eagles, he has sometimes been hesitant to take control of a moment the way we've seen him do for Cal, and the All Americans.

Well all of that will come with time, and we are seeing more and more of Kelly as a ballcarrier, and a gamebreaker. He is happy to do the tough stuff and is one of the better backs in a ruck. He can tackle, and he's a leader, but has taken a back seat to stronger personalities on the Eagles.
