The West Coast Collegiate Tournament begins fall 7s competition in California with a compelling tournament Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Cal Poly State University.
 
This is the 5th year od the tournament. UCLA has won twice, in 2013 and 2014, while St. Mary's won in 2011 and 2012. While St. Mary's won't compete this year, UCLA will and is seeded #2. The seeding in and of itself is interesting in that a panel of the participating coaches was used to seed the teams. It was a new approach by the tournament organizers and worked nicely. Cal received 50% of the votes for #1 seed and takes the top seed. The next three seeds are UCLA, Arizona State, and Cal Poly.
