Congratulations to the 21 players named to the Rocky Mountain Challenge All Tournament Team. The Denver event served as the West Regional Cup Tournament, one of seven all-star tournament occurring countrywide and that serve as primary selection vehicle to the Stars & Stripes assembly. There, 50 of the top girls high school players - along with 50 of their male counterparts - will convene in Greeley, Colo., from July 21-25.
All five teams are represented on the all-tournament team, with the state of Utah receiving extra visibility due to Orem's inclusion as a stand-alone club. The Lady Stallions won the tournament, going 4-0 and defeating Utah 31-7 in the final (read more).Colorado's Summit High School has four players, while Minnesota's Armstrong contributed three.
