With teams active all over the country, we've got plenty of candidates for standout players for the week. Here's our latest list:

Patrick McTiernan, Greenwich HS

A co-captain for Greenwich, McTiernan scored three tries in a defeat of Fordham Prep.

 

Jack Manzo, Xavier HS

The Xavier hooker was named player of the game in a victory over Doylstown.

 

Vili Wolfgramm, Genesis

Wolfgramm scored a try and was overall effective from the fullback position in a close win over East HS.

 

George Niethammer, Jesuit - Sacramento

Jack Lewis, San Diego Mustangs

The Mustangs center scored a key try in a close win over the Coastal Dragons.

 

Joshua Barber, Union HS Oregon

A sophomore prop for Union, Barber has scord six tries in the last two games for th Titans.

 

Matt Ruppel, Chargers

The Chargers made the final of the Hooligan Cup in Tulsa, and Ruppel was a huge part of that charge.

Chandler Owens, KC Jr. Blues

Owens showed some superior kicking skills both from the hand and the tee, and sparked the Junior Blues to a win at the Hooligan Cup in Tulsa.

 

Matt Holmes, West Allegheny (pictured above)

A four-year starter and captain of the West Allgheney team, Holmes scored three tries and was dominat in the rucks and on defense as his team beat Central Catholic. He has scored at least three tries in each of his team's four games.

 

Devin Lawnhorne and Greg Ferrin, Back Bay

The two locks for the Sharks were responsible for all the team's points in a 10-9 win over Santa Monica

 

 

Charles Lobrano, Jesuit - New Orleans

The Blues Jays blindside flanker scored two snappy tries in his team's 19-10 victory over Brother Martin.

Josh Smith, Kenmore

Smith was the MVP of the St. Bonaventure Tournament as his Tonawanada, NY-based swept the event.Richard MailandNotre Dame de La SaletteThe La Salette center scored three tries against New Trier, two against Fishers, and one against Mt. Carmel in three wins.

 

Thomas Waghorne, Katy Barbarians

Playing prop for the Barbarians, Waghorne has had a breakout season and led from the front in a 40-0 win over St. Pius X.

 

Sam Yeboah, St. Thomas, Houston

Yeboah has enjoyed a brilliant season at prop for St. Thomas and scored two tries in a victory over Lamar.

 

Conor McManus, Fort Hunt

The Warriors halfback has been exactly what the #1-ranked HS club needs, directing the attack, providing crucial defensive and offensive kicks, and scoring. He scored two tries in a win over Downingtown this past weekend. (David Hughes photo)

Dawson Moseley, Bearden

Moseley is a prop for the Tennessee HS team, and his leadership and hard-nosed, physical play set the tone in a victory over South Doyle.
