Here is the entire official announcement:

AUSTIN, TX - FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, announced Alex Goff as its new Senior Editor of FloRugby.com. The hiring of Goff, who is among the most world's most decorated and recognizable rugby journalists, adds to FloRugby's strong launch, which has included live coverage of the Boys Rugby High School National Championships and the Texas High School Rugby Championships, a partnership with the Austin Huns, and more.

Goff joins FloRugby with more than 25 years of experience as an analyst and reporter covering the sport and its growth. A former player and passionate fan, Goff started his career in the mid-1990s as a contributor to Rugby Magazine. He later founded his own rugby news outlet, GoffonRugby, which he ran for six years before joining Erugbynews as editor, and contributing regularly to its sister print publication, Rugby Magazine. Erugbynews became RugbyMag.com, and Goff served as the editor for both the online and print versions of the publication from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, Goff founded GoffRugbyReport.com.

As Senior Editor of FloRugby, Goff will oversee and manage the FloRugby editorial team and will continue his contributions to his personal blog.
"As one of the most passion-driven sports in the world, rugby continues to gain steam and attract fans in the U.S.," FloSports chief creative officer Ray Machuca said. "Alex is one of the most well-respected rugby journalists. His depth of knowledge for the sport will be an invaluable asset to FloRugby, FloSports, and all rugby fans."

"I'm thrilled to join FloRugby and share my love of rugby with its likeminded user base," Goff said. "Over the past 25 years, I've witnessed a significant shift in how the sport is covered in the U.S. From a small print publication, to a blog with personal musings and now to a major content producer that supports athletes from a variety of different sports through authentic and engaging content -- I'm really lucky to be a part of the evolution of this industry and look forward to sharing more experiences with rugby fans as part of this team."

FloRugby was launched in March 2017 with a focus on live and on-demand coverage of premier rugby competitions across all levels of the sport, as well as breaking news, weekly studio shows, original documentaries, technique videos, in-depth interviews, highlights and more.

Access to premium content, including live streams, films and training videos, is available via monthly or annual FloPRO subscription. Annual subscribers gain access to premium content across the entire FloSports network.
