Tough Girls Bracket at Great NW Challenge
The Great Northwest Challenge welcomes ten girls select sides in two divisions to Delta Park in Portland, Ore. Saturday and Sunday.
Northern California, which just won the Rocky Mountain Challenge in Aurora, Colo., will shoot for a second championship in as many weeks. NorCal also will field a combined team with Oregon to round out the Varsity bracket at six.
Also slated to appear will be Washington, Oregon, and Southern California, all of whom have won this tournament before.
Montana sends its select side, also.
In the JV bracket, NorCal, Oregon, Southern California, and Washington are expected to compete.
This is as competitive an all-star tournament on the girls side as there is in the country, with several very serious programs showcasing talent pushing for a place on the national team.
